WHY JOIN NMAEA?

Networking

NMAEA members are part of a statewide network of adult educators and connected to regional and national associations. If we do not have an answer, we know someone who does.

Workshops & Conferences

NMAEA sponsors regional workshops and a state conference on topics of interest to its membership.

Advocacy

The NMAEA board actively promotes for adult education by communicating and visiting both state and national legislators. Members receive legislative alerts and announcements.

NMAEA oversees the federal Professional Development grant and the Propel Professional Learning System. Through NMAEA, you can get direct access to the following resources:

Stipends

Students are eligible for a stipend for completing the Student Ambassador training.

Joint Membership

Your Membership in NMAEA also includes membership to the regional Mountain Plains Adult Education Association (MPAEA) and the national Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE). You can visit the MPAEA and COABE websites for details on member benefits.

Our Low Membership Rates Are:

AE Practitioners and other Supporters/Stakeholders: $50/individual registration or 5 members for $200
AE Current and Former Students: $25/individual registration or 5 members for $100
